Pinotage

... is a cross between Pinot noir and Cinsaut (a.k.a. Hermitage – hence the name).

According to Wikipedia, it "has been criticised for sometimes smelling of acetone." As a lover of red wine myself, I have to say that it is not my favourite grape.
